Premiqamed, Austria, annual management conference

The PremiQaMed Group ist the leading provider of private healthcare in Austria, employing approx. 2.000 employees. The PremiQaMed Group is a 100 percent subsidiary of UNIQA Österreich Versicherungen AG.

 

The challenge:

The task was to design a virtual event with the quality of a physical meeting, which offers memorable experiences for the participants and the opportunity for interaction.

Due to the circumstances of the pandemic, the management of PremiQaMed decided to hold their annual management conference online for the first time.

The aim was to ensure the quality of a physical meeting, to convey content in a plenary session and to present important projects in 6 parallel sessions. In addition, it was important to offer the opportunity for an interactive exchange and networking to all participants.

 

Why venew:

PremiQaMed evaluated online meeting options and opted for the virtual event and experience platform venew, as it promised an almost real conference experience in addition to all the necessary functions. The event was set up in just three weeks between the first meeting and the day of the conference, with the support of the event agency KESCH.

160 leaders accepted the invitation to venew’s specially created, virtual 3D environment in October 2021. They  were welcomed at  the Welcome Desk, where technical support was provided if required and information about the conference program was given. The participants listened to key note speakers and panel discussions via live streams, could experience a music band and were able to informed themselves about various projects in 6 parallel breakout sessions. The participants had the opportunity to network with each other at all times. Especially the 3D areas of the lounge, the bar and the cafe were used for lively exchange during the breaks.

Both the participants and the management of PremiQaMed were positively impressed by the implementation of the conference by venew. Due to great feedback, PremiQaMed is considering to use the platform in the future.
